10 rings in 10 weeks
As I’m sure you know by now, I started my project “10 rings in 10 weeks” to allow me to play and encourage my creativity. I also wanted to give me a chance to learn some new skills and work on projects that I’ve been wanting to for a long time, but not got around to. You may have followed on from the start but if not, do follow my journey from the first to the 10th ring!
I’ve been launching a new ring every Friday; in my newsletter and on social media. My loyal subscribers will always get a little early access, so if you’d like to be one of the first to see each ring, sign up to my newsletter, there’s a sign-up form below.
All the rings will be for sale on my website and will come in a special gift box to treat yourself or someone you care for.
Ring number 5 is here!
Ring 5: Cornish pebble times 2
This week’s ring’s a bit special… I feel like I say that every time though! I’ve used my new found skill and a new tool) to cut and shape beach pebbles, something I have wanted to do for ages. Well here is the result! I’ve taken 2 natural slate beach pebbles with beautiful quartz vein patterns and turned them into sleek slices of natural beauty. Both set in recycled sterling silver with a brushed finish. Contemporary cool but still a totally natural material and locally sourced to boot. Wear a bit of Cornwall wherever you go!
Oh, and scroll down to see a quick video of my shaping/cutting/polishing these pebbles on my JoolTool thingamajig!
