“Too good to miss” award winner!

A while ago I applied for business funding from a UK training company called Jewellers Academy. It was for £1000 to spend on your business and you had to write a case for why you should get it and what you would do with it, how it would improve your business and so on. The application went in and I thought “I won’t win, but it’s worth a try”. I then forgot about it and it wasn’t until I had an email from the lovely Jessica from Jewellers Academy, announcing the winners, that it was brought back to my attention. I didn’t win the money, but, I was given a special mention award instead! They’d had so many good applications and had a hard time choosing, so had decided to give 2 “runners up” a 1 year membership to the Jewellers Academy programme as well as a 1-2-1 training session with Jessica. They called the award “Too good to miss”. Low and behold, I was on of those 2 winners! As lovely as it had been to win the £1k, it was also really flattering to win this award and I can’t wait to get stuck into some of the trainings there soon!
