Awsome patterned Fordite has been simply set into a sterling silver ring with a brushed matte finish.
This one of a kind ring features a Fordite piece with an almost psychedelic pattern of swirls in many colours, fabulous!
Fordite is made up from cut layers of compacted motor car paint that had hardened in the spray booths of car factories, and was taken from the Ford plant in Detroit in the US, in the 1960’s. It is also know as “Detroit agate”. This is a piece of history in a ring and there is only one with this gorgeous pattern.
The “stone” has been set in a simple sterling silver setting, mounted onto a plain ring band. The silver has been given a brushed matte finish.
The band measures 6mm wide and the top of the ring measures approximately 18 by 20mm.
This ring is ready to ship in a UK size O (US size 7). I have more Fordite so if you would like a ring made to your specifications just contact me to discuss.
