My Tourmaline ring

I’m totally in love with my bi-colour statement Tourmaline ring! I bought the stone quite a while ago, and it’s one of the most expensive single stones (apart from diamonds!) that I have ever bought actually. It took a while before I decided what to do with it, as I wanted to do it justice. In the end I decided that a simple design was most appropriate as I wanted the stone to shine instead of being overshadowed by the rest of the piece. So it became a piece in my Rugged collection with a textured wide band and a simple ledge setting for the stone. Once it was made my mind was made up, I was keeping it! Believe it or not, but I don’t actually have that much jewellery myself! Pretty much everything I make end up being sold, and I end up with not a lot! So, this time I decided I was going to treat myself. I’ve had lots of compliments on this ring and although it’s a big piece I do wear it on an almost daily basis. I think jewellery is for wearing. What’s the point in having lovely things if you don’t use them?
