Tanzanite and textured drop stud earrings

Stunning one of a kind pair of earrings with the most gorgeous purple rose cut (faceted) Tanzanite gemstones. These are out of this world! The organic style gemstones just seem to fit perfectly with the rugged textures. As I said, these would add some really cool edge to an evening dress, but works equally well with a smart jumper.

The organic texture on the silver drops is inspired by the rugged textures of rocks and cliffs here on the north Cornish coast. It’s created by fusing silver dust and small pieces of silver scraps to a plain base, resulting in this rustic look and feel. The silver has a black patina that has been brushed back and polished on the high spots, adding extra depth and a bit of sutble sparkle.

The earrings were made using sterling silver and genuine Tanzanite gemstone. They measure approximately 41mm long from top of the studs, and 14mm wide at the widest point (on the silver drops).

Silver hallmarked with my makers mark at Birmingham Assay Office, according to UK regulations.
