Sapphire earrings in textured sterling silver with patina

Gorgeous little bi-coloured Sapphires with rustic textured silver drops. The sapphires are subtly shaded from almost yellow, through green to blue, a beautiful colour combo that looks great with a lot of things. I can especially see these going really well with denim! Maybe your favourite T-shirt, jeans and boots?

The organic texture on the silver drops is inspired by the rugged textures of the rocks here on the north Cornish coast. It’s created by fusing silver dust and small pieces of silver scraps to a plain base, resulting in this rustic look and feel. The silver has a black patina that has been brushed back and polished on the high spots, adding extra depth and a bit of subtle sparkle.

The earrings were made using sterling silver and genuine Sapphire gemstone. They measure approximately 50 mm long including ear wires, and 11 mm wide at the widest point.

Silver hallmarked with my makers mark at Birmingham Assay Office, according to UK regulations.
