Peridot and textured silver drop earrings

Textured drops are given a fresh touch by the juicy faceted little peridot gemstones. These one of a kind earrings are sure to spruce up your autumn clothes and would look great with a simple wool jumper, perhaps a grey or navy one?

The organic texture on the silver drops is inspired by the rugged textures of the rocks here on the north Cornish coast. It’s created by fusing silver dust and small pieces of silver scraps to a plain base, resulting in this rustic look and feel. The silver has a black patina that has been brushed back and polished on the high spots, adding extra depth and a bit of sutble sparkle.

The earrings were made using sterling silver and genuine peridot gemstone. They measure approximately 40mm long including earwires, and 16mm wide at the widest point.

Silver hallmarked with my makers mark at Birmingham Assay Office, according to UK regulations.
