Textured silver loop earrings with handmade beads and charms

Fun and dangly, these long earrings are made up with handmade, folded and textured silver beads and ruggedly textured disc charms, hung onto off-round loop components, also with texture.

The organic texture on the silver charms and beads, is inspired by the rugged textures of the rocks here on the north Cornish coast. It’s created by fusing silver dust and small pieces of silver scraps to a plain base, resulting in this rustic look and feel. The silver has a black patina that has been brushed back and polished on the high spots, adding extra depth and a bit of sutble sparkle.

The earrings were made using sterling silver. They measure approximately 52mm long including earwires, and 21mm wide at the widest point.

Silver hallmarked with my makers mark at Birmingham Assay Office, according to UK regulations.
