“A showstopper. So pleased, thank you. Trying not to think about a pendant to match 😄.”
Like that but different!
Lindsey contacted me after seeing a ring I had previously made, with a green tourmaline and blue topaz (see photo below left). The ring was part of my Rugged collection and had sold. Lindsey asked me to make a similar ring for her, but with aquamarine as the dominant colour. We looked at the stones I had (see photo below right) and a few colour combinatios and finally chose a beautiful faceted baby blue aquamarine, and a juicy peridot to go with it.
Lindsey’s aquamarine ring
Lindsey wanted the ring to have a brighter look than the green tourmaline ring, so I just adjusted the darkness of the patina for a brighter and lighter look. The pretty aquamarine is perfectly accented by the green peridot and look really gorgeous against the gently patinated silver!
As always, I loved making this ring for Lindsey and I was really pleased how it turned out. However, the proof is always, as they say, in the pudding, so Lindsey’s verdict was very important to me. And this is what she had to say:
“Hi Carin, wore my beautiful ring to work today. Couldn’t stop looking at it. I’m a teacher and several of the students noticed it too! A showstopper. So pleased, thank you. Lindsey”
“It has attracted a lot of attention. I love it! Trying not to think about a pendant to match 😄. Maybe after Christmas……”
Happy client, happy me! 😀
