Tangled silver drop earrings

“Nests” of sterling silver wire fused into organic style components make up these rustic style drop earrings.

The organic shapes are created by fusing silver stock wire into tangles of wire, resulting in this rustic look and feel. The silver has a black patina that has been brushed back on the high spots, adding extra depth character.

The earrings were made using sterling silver. They measure approximately 60 mm long including ear wires, and 20 mm wide at the widest point.

These earrings are in essence one of a kind, as every single pair will be slightly different. Due to the somewhat random nature of fusing, the shapes will be different every time.
