Rainbow Moonstone and textured silver drop earrings

Like little droplets of water, the small Rainbow Moonstones on these drop earrings add a bit of sparkle to the textured silver. These earrings are so verstile, they would work with pretty much anything, or any time.

The organic texture on the silver drops is inspired by the rugged textures of the rocks here on the north Cornish coast. It’s created by fusing silver dust and small pieces of silver to a plain base, resulting in this rustic, almost industrial look. The silver has a black patina that has been brushed back and polished on the high spots, adding extra depth and a bit of sutble sparkle.

The earrings were made using sterling silver and genuine rainbow moonstone gemstone. They measure approximately 30mm long including earwires, and 20mm wide at their widest points.

Silver hallmarked with my makers mark at Birmingham Assay Office, according to UK regulations.
