Long articulated rag slate earrings in brushed recycled sterling silver

Fun pair of articulated long drop earrings which I’m calling my “rag slate” earrings after the Delabole (Cornish) roof slates. Love how these earrings move in the ear when worn! The textures are inspired by slate surfaces, taking the outlines of the textures and etching them into silver stock to create these gorgeous organic style patterns. The freeform hexagon shapes are graduating from big to small as the earrings drop. Patina and a brushed finish give them a contemporary feel with a touch of industrial. One of my favourites in this collection!

Rag slate earrings Dimensions & Size
The rag slate earrings measure approximately 19 mm at the widest point and 67 mm long from top of stud fitting to bottom of the last “slate”.
These silver stud earrings close with contemporary, easy to use clutch fittings.
Hallmarking
These patterned stud earrings are not hallmarked as they are below the legal limit for needing this. If you’d like them hallmarked I’m happy to arrange this at an additional cost. Just get in touch to arrange.
Earring fittings
If you prefer a different type of earring fitting some of my earrings can be changed to suit. I can do simple French hooks, lever backs (a secure alternative to hooks) and sometimes ball and post studs. It’s sometimes also possible to do a custom stud or use a clip-on fitting at an extra cost. If you’d like the earrings changed contact me and I will do my very best to help and let you know of any extra costs incurred.
Ready for gifting
These earrings come packaged in one of my branded gift boxes, ready as a treat for yourself, or a loved one. I can also add a ribbon and gift tag with your personal message to the recipient. If you’d like this, just add your message at checkout or follow your order with an email. I can also send it directly to the recipient (no receipt included, I will post that to you instead) with your message and my contact information. Just add a different delivery address at checkout.
Delivery
Usually posted within 2-3 business day, with Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day, which is a tracked delivery service, for peace of mind. You (or the recipient) may need to sign for the parcel, so bear this in mind when you add the delivery address.
If your order is urgent please contact me to see if it’s possible to ship quicker.
