Labradorite and silver pendant

A square Labradorite stone with fabulous blue flashes led the way for the design of this simple pendant necklace. The semi-precious gemstone is set simply on to a sterling silver back plate with square cutouts that carry on the simplistic geometric theme.

The pendant measures 1 5/8″ (just over 40 mm) including the bail and is just under 1/2″ (12 mm) at its widest point.

The silver sports a gunmetal grey patina achieved by oxidisation followed by sanding and polishing to create the mellow look.

A 16″ long, 1.9 mm thick modern snake chain completes this pendant. If you require a different length chain or would like to find out about other options, please contact me.
