The colour of this beautiful gem reminds me of the colour of the sea on certain days, dark and moody yet rich blue at the same time. Tourmaline is a gorgeous stone which comes in a rainbow of colours and this deep teal blue is one of my favourites! The stone is a one off freeform shape, so there will be nobody with the exact same pendant as this one. It’s small but it packs a punch! It’s a so called rose cut (faceted) gemstone and it’s set in a roughly textured silver surround, inspired by the rocks on the north Cornish coast, giving it a raw and rustic feel. The silver has a black patina that has been brushed back and polished on the high spots, all to add extra depth and sutble sparkle to this stunning little pendant.
This pendant looks great teamed up with a few others, either on separate different length chains, or on the same, in a cluster, as shown in one of the photos. You can choose to add one or two extra pendants in the dropdown.
The pendant is hung on a 20″ long snake chain, giving the pendant a contemporary look. You can request a different length chain if you prefer.
It was made using sterling silver and Tourmaline and measures approximately 26mm in length including the bail, and 10.5mm in width at its widest point.
Silver hallmarked with my makers mark at Birmingham Assay Office, according to UK regulations.
