Textured ring in sterling silver

This cool textured, but otherwise quite simple ring, is perfect to wear for everyday, or team up with a few others to create your own stack. Combine with a sparkly stone ring to make it a more of a statement, this plain ring will make your stack a bit chunkier, and you have the advantage of wearing them separately when you want to as well.

The texture on the ring band is inspired by the rustic rock surfaces found along the coastline here in north Cornwall. It’s created by fusing silver dust and small pieces of silver scraps to a plain silver stock, resulting in this organic look and feel. The method of creating the texture means no two rings are the same, so although I make this ring many times over, each and every one will be slightly different, so to all intents and purposes, each one is a one off!

The ring was made using sterling silver with an added black patina that has been brushed back and polished on the high spots, adding extra depth and a bit of subtle sparkle.

The ring band measures approximately 6mm wide and 1.2mm thick, a nice substantial weight.

PLEASE NOTE: This ring will be hallmarked with my makers mark at Birmingham Assay Office, according to UK regulations. This means that it if I don’t have your size in stock already, it can take up to two weeks before delivery, allowing for marking.
