This stunning one off Turquoise gem is simply set on top of a “tangled” ring band in recycled, brushed matte sterling silver. A wonderfully “boho”, yet elegant ring!
This stunning variety of turquoise is called Kazakhstan Turquoise or Golden Hills Turquoise and I’ve also seen quite a few references to it as Lavender Turquoise. A rare color for turquoise, this variety comes from a deposit in the Altyn Tyube mine in Kazakhstan. Golden Hills turquoise is some of the most chemically pure turquoise to be found in the world, and its color and consistency is one of the most vibrant and durable. This gorgeous Turquoise has a light blue hue and a reddish, burnt umber matrix. This particular stone doesn’t have so much of the matrix, more of the stunning blue colour. This stone was found relatively recently in 2013, in a new deposit in Kazakhstan, so it’s quite a new stone.
As I’m sure you’ve already guessed, this is a one of a kind ring, and it’s ready to ship in UK size P. This corresponds approximately to a US size 7 1/2. If you have any ring sizing questions just contact me.
The turquoise stone in its setting measures approximately 14.5 x 18.5 mm. The “organic” ring band is slightly uneven in width around the shank but it measure approximately 10 mm in width at the widest point.
Hallmarked and stamped with my makers mark at the Birmingham Assay Office, according to UK regulations.
