This beautiful one of a kind Turquoise gem is set simply in recycled, brushed matte sterling silver and is joined by a fabulously textured recycled silver pendant, also with a bright finish. A stunning periwinkle blue necklace that is sure to draw attention.
This gorgeous variety of turquoise is called Kazakhstan Turquoise or Golden Hills Turquoise and I’ve also seen quite a few references to it as Lavender Turquoise. A rare color for turquoise, this variety comes from a deposit in the Altyn Tyube mine in Kazakhstan. Golden Hills turquoise is some of the most chemically pure turquoise to be found in the world, and its color and consistency is one of the most vibrant and durable. This gorgeous Turquoise has a light blue hue and a reddish, burnt umber matrix. This particular stone doesn’t have so much of the matrix, more of the stunning blue colour. This Turquoise variety was found relatively recently in 2013, in a new deposit in Kazakhstan, so it’s quite a new stone.
As I’m sure you’ve already guessed, this is a one of a kind duo pendant. The pendants look great together or you can of course choose to wear either of them on their own; it’s a 3 in 1 necklace!
The pendants hang on a sleek rounded box chain which also has a brushed finish, simple and contemporary. The chain is 1.6mm thick and you can have it 16″, 18″ or 20″ long according to your preference. Just select from the drop-down.
The Turquoise pendant measures approximately 21 mm long and 13 mm wide, excluding the bail, and the silver pendant is approximately 32 mm by 13 mm excluding the bail.
The pendants are hallmarked and stamped with my makers mark at the Birmingham Assay Office, according to UK regulations.
