NOTE: Currently part of the summer exhibition at The Byre Gallery.
A gorgeous deep green Tourmaline gemstone makes for a sophisticated one off ring. The rounded rectangular stone is set into a sleek bezel that’s been mounted off centre on an organically textured ring band.
This green Tourmaline ring was made using sterling silver that’s been given a characterful texture by fusing. The silver was brushed and the high spots polished to emphasize the texture.
It’s a one of a kind ring, ready to ship in UK size P 1/2. This corresponds approximately to a US size 7 3/4. If you have any ring sizing questions just contact me.
The stone setting measures approximately 11 x 13 mm. The ring band is tapered from about 10 mm in width at the front to around 5 mm at the back. This is to make sure the ring is really comfortable to wear.
NOTE: This ring haven’t made it to hallmarking yet, as the Assay Offices have been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As soon as I am able, I will make sure it’s stamped with my makers mark at the Birmingham Assay Office, according to UK regulations. If you’d like the ring before then I can post it to you now, and organise to have it marked at a later date, once normal hallmarking procedures have been resumed.
