Stunning one of a kind pendant showcasing a gorgeous boulder opal with its trademark sea colours and pin flashes that reveal themselves when basking in the light. The opal is teamed up with a vibrant Swiss blue topaz, picking up on the blue of the opal. The gems are set onto a silver pendant in a free form shape with fused textures that resembe the patterns you would find on the Cornish rocks. The silver has a blackened patina brushed back and polished on the high spots to add real depth and sutble sparkle to this amazing pendant.
This pendant manages to be subtle but eye catching at the same time and would look equally great on a simple T-shirt as on a wool jumper, or even as a party piece. It also looks brilliant layered with a few other pendants, or as a cluster with other pendants, on one chain.
The pendant is hung on a cool rounded box chain measuring 18″ in total, with an optional length of 16″, due to the extra clasp ring. If you prefer to wear this beaut on a longer chain that can be arranged, just contact me first.
The pendant itself is made using sterling silver and the genuine opal and topaz stones. It measures approximately 51mm in length, including the bail, and 17mm in width at its widest point.
Silver hallmarked with my makers mark at Birmingham Assay Office, according to UK regulations.
