Amethyst ring, stone re-set

Amethyst is the birthstone for February, so it’s only fitting to show a photo of one of course! This ring was brought in by a customer, the stone had fallen out and got lost, so I sourced a new one and set it into this lovely little silver ring. Quick polish and the ring is as good as new! Often it’s not worth repairing, but when a piece of jewellery has meaning, it might have been a special gift from a loved one, then it’s totally worth it. Priceless as they say! 😉
