Diamond stud earrings as gift for a 50th birthday
If you can’t make some gorgeous jewellery for your friends, then who can you make it for?! A dear friend recently turned 50 and I wanted to give her a little something to mark the occasion. You can’t go wrong with diamonds and knowing that she likes simple, same as me, I chose to make a pair of stud earrings with rose cut salt and pepper diamonds. Small, elegant and subtle, perhaps for anytime of day or year! Very pleased with the resulting simple bezel set little studs and have actually already had enquiries after posting photos of them on social media. Just goes to show that less really is more a lot of the time!

Pebble and sea glass pendant
I was also asked to make a pendant from her daughter, using a beach pebble and a piece of sea glass from one of their favourite local beaches. Here it is and again it’s such a wearable piece, and a lovely keepsake from her loving daughter!
