I’ve just sent off a new little batch of aquamarine jewellery to the lovely New Brewery Arts in Cirencester in the Cotswolds. They’ve had my jewellery for some time now after having been in one of their Christmas exhibitions a few years back. It’s always a pleasure to deal with this lovely gallery shop and so I was very pleased to be able to send a new parcel. There were a mix of pieces from my Pebble collection and the Rugged collection. These new aquamarine pieces are both from the latter, with gorgeous aquamarine and characterful textured silver.
Aquamarine duo pendants in textured silver
I absolutely love the pale blue smooth aquamarine gem in this pendant! It’s such an elegant shape and the polish on this quality gem is second to none. I set it simply into a silver bezel and teamed it with a textured pendant in a similar shape. My duo pendants are always proving popular, it’s just a bit more than a single pendant and feels more laid back while at the same being elegant. The fused textures are inspired by the rock faces here on the north Cornish coast and the deep patina and brushed back high spots adds extra depth and character.
Aquamarine ring in textured silver
The colour of this aquamarine is stunning. A deep blue shade which tones so well with the textures and the patina added. I’ve again given it the simple treatment by using a simple silver bezel setting and a medium wide band with my trademark textures. One of a kind as usual!
If you are in the Cotswold area do go and visit this lovely gallery. They also run various workshops, so if you fancy that I can recommend it. And they have a cafe too!
