Choosing gemstone for ring commission

When someone commissions a piece of jewellery from me, in this case a ring commission, it usually starts with us choosing a gemstone that they love. Often I take photos of stones I think will work and that the customer will like, based on their preferences and ideas. Sometimes I take a little video as well because it shows the stones even better. Here is a selection of dendritic quartz, dendritic agate, tourmalinated quartz and rutilated quartzes that I needed to show a client. She needed to choose a stone to be made into a ring combined with her own diamond.
