10 rings in 10 weeks
I started my project “10 rings in 10 weeks” to allow me to play and encourage my creativity. I also wanted to allow myself time to learn some new skills and work on projects that I’ve been wanting to for a long time, but not got around to. Follow my journey from the first to the 10th ring!
I’ve been launching a new ring every Friday; in my newsletter and on social media. My loyal subscribers will always get a little early access, so if you’d like to be one of the first to see each ring, sign up to my newsletter, there’s a sign-up form below.
All the rings will be for sale on my website and will come in a special gift box to treat yourself or someone you care for.
And here’s ring number 6!
Ring 6: Inspired by Cornish herringbone walls
This one of a kind statement ring is directly inspired by the beautiful Cornish herringbone stone walls you see scattered around the place. There’s even one in my back garden! Of course I’ve also added in some glorious gemstones in the form of blue tourmaline. Lots of textures here, brought out by patina and a brushed finish. One of my favourites so far! 😊
I’d had an idea for ages to create a design based on these eye catching walls and doing this ring challenge gave me the opportunity to give it a go. I created a design mimicking the herringbone pattern in recycled sterling silver with plenty of texture and dimension. These photos are from the beautiful wall opposite the front of our house.

Of course it wouldn’t be a design of mine without some glorious gems, so I added not one but 3 gorgeous tourmalines in blue shades.

This one off statement ring is now available in my shop!

The ring is ready to ship in a UK size P.
