A sneaky peek at a new tourmaline ring commission

I recently made a ring in my Rugged style with a beautiful bi-coloured tourmaline, pictured below:

I had so much great feedback on this ring, the stone is absolutely stunning! One client came to me and asked me to source a similar stone and make her a ring too. It took a few months of scouring my normal gem buying places until I finally found this gorgeous stone, pictured below. This is how I often take pictures of potential stones, on a white background and on a sterling silver background, so that the client can see what it will look like once set. This gorgeous tourmaline gem shows a colour variation from pink through green to blue and purple, mesmerizing!

You could have one too!

Finally, here it is again, the end result! I’ve show the picture to the client and have yet to hallmark this beauty and ship it, but once I have, I hope to come back to it and write a little more. So, you could have a ring like this too! I love looking for gems and making one off rings that will be special to the wearer, it’s my most favourite thing to do. So, if you fancy something similar, do get in touch and I’d love to help!
