Flat lay of blue gemstone rings
Flat lays? Yes, I dabble!… Seriously, flat lays are, and have been for a long time, very “in”. To be fair they are quite good for showing off a group of jewellery together like in this example; some pieces from my Rugged collection. Especially when the weather, or time, isn’t on my side and I can’t photo at the beach, it adds another way of showing pieces. So, I get my grey foam board and my beach props out and shoot that way, at home, inside or outside. I take quite a lot of photos, almost on a daily basis. As a lot of my work are one offs, I need to be able to take these shots myself as and when I need them. Thank goodness for the progress of the mobile phone camera!
So pictured are some of the rings in the Rugged collection, and a pair of gorgeous rainbow moonstone stud earrings. These are some of the more simple rings with some gorgeous stones. There will soon be more one off rings coming so keep an eye out for that.
