The beach best for photographing textured gemstone rings
It’s no surprise that the beach is the very best backdrop I could get for the new textured gemstone rings in the Rugged collection. That’s the actual inspiration for this collection in the first place! The rugged coastlines of this part of Cornwall, on the north coast.
Taking photos can be tricky at the best of times, but to be able to pop to one of my local beaches and snap these shots, is just brilliant. I’m lucky to be living on the north Cornish coast and it’s thanks to this beautiful coastline that this collection exists at all. The rugged, textured rocks and cliffs have inspired the fused silver textures that run through this collection. The gleaming gemstones pick up on the colours of the landscape; everything from misty white fog, through bright blue waters and rolling green hillsides, to stormy dark and moody blues and greys. The coastline is deliciously ever changing and gives so much to choose from in terms of textures and colours.
There are some new rings coming up very soon. A few sold before I had the chance to list them, but I have a few new ones coming, so watch this space! And of course, you can also check out the other pieces in the Rugged collection.
